Repair connection?

On my second pc I went to control panel -> network connections -> then tried to repair that connection but it told me it failed since the network did not assign an ip address or something to it. It was working perfectly fine before.

hi, do you know these sites what tell you your ip address, how do they know that and is that dangerous if you go on these websites that give you your ip address, and if someone knows it what can they do to your pc, can they hack in or anything and be fraudulent?

What are some jobs out thier on computers?

I love computers, ive built my own rig before, i know all components that make up the pc and so forth. Anyways what are some good jobs in computers besides repairing or installing hardware onto PCs. Next year will be my final and senior of high school and want too look into what kind of career to get into. You could provide a list with a brief description on jobs, that would be very helpful. My digital audio recorder creates only wma files when I download its content to my pc. I wanna open these files in Cooledit, but can’t seem to get the file type requirement right. I tried saving the wma file as a wav, which is supposed to be ok for both app’s, but when I opened it in Cooledit, it’s nothing but loud hiss. Thanks in advance.

Why is my PC stealing my RAM when I have a dedicated video card?

I have a pc running Windows Vista Ultimate, I have 1g of ram, and a Radeon x800 PCIe video card with 128mb of dedicated video ram. I just looked at my display options, and saw that even though I have 128mb of video ram, windows is taking an additional 256mb of my system ram for use with video. I would love to know why, when I have already turned off the integrated graphics in the bios, and have installed a video card , that Windows is taking that ram… Thanks in advance.
